I LOVE that picture of the two of you. What a cute hat! I enjoyed reading your posts, after the holiday….and hope I remember them for next year. I always put a selection of pine cones in a big wooden bowl. I have a few that have white around the edges and a few gold ones to add to my super sized ones that I brought home from the Redwoods in CA many years ago! Each year I look at what I’ve got and try to re-use the decorations in a new way, if possible. And then maybe I add a few things on sale as well. Just about to order some of those tea lights from Crate & Barrel. I discovered them on sale yesterday and they are only .50 a piece-how can you go wrong???? Hope to see you soon!

Thanks, Mrs. Whit! I also saw in a Crate and Barrel store that the tea light holders are all on super sale for 50 cents. Such a great deal!

Pretty sure I did the white edge painting on those pine cones, Mom! Also, Linds, my mom still hangs up a wreath that we crafted yearrrrrrs ago. Every year I look at it and say, oh that’s cute.. and then remember I did it! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but that is sooooo totally what I am doing.

I used to LOVE craft night! Way to go on the white edge pine cones too. Remember the mosaic trays and decoupaged vases and jars we made too?!
