{5 minute} christmas centerpiece

December 9, 2014 by Lindsey Leave a Comment

This is likely the easiest centerpiece you’ll ever make. Most of the supplies you probably have in your house already. Though, if you have to purchase supplies, it should only cost you about $10 or so.

I used three drinking glasses but you could use vases or mason jars as well. I filled each glass about half way full with table salt. They weren’t perfectly even, but close enough. I then topped each with cranberries, almost filled to the top of the glass. I cut a few small pieces from the leftover branches of the Christmas tree and stuck them into the cranberries.cranberry christmas cenerpiece

The cranberries hold the branches tightly so they stay put. I used a green runner, sprinkled some small ornaments and topped with the full glass jars.

Added perk: don’t waste the cranberries or salt. Use the salt for future cleaning and the cranberries for a homemade potpourri!
