bed sheet closet curtain

October 20, 2010 by Lindsey 1 Comment

Our bedroom closet has been driving me nuts because there’s no curtain or door on it. I had a hard time finding a fabric that fit with the other patterns in the room and of course I wanted to spend next to nothing on it. I found this flat twin bed sheet at Savers Thrift Store.

I loved it because it had a pattern and some color on it but it’s not a loud pattern so it blends well in the room. I hemmed the bottom of it about twelve inches. Then I used the hem on the other end of the sheet that was already sewn to slide a spring tension rod through. It took me a total of about seven minutes to make and it’s perfect. And the whole project cost $2.99 because I already had the spring tension rod!

It looks great. We need a Savers Thrift in SC. Looks like you got some really good deals.
