Al and I spent the long weekend visiting friends in Nashville, TN. It was amazing and we never wanted to leave. We had to though, but not before documenting the amazing entry-way they’ve made in their new home. At the local antique mall they found an old bookcase headboard that was painted black with some great fleur-de-lis knobs. At the time they had no clue it was a headboard, they just thought it was a narrow sofa table. They scooped it up and it is the perfect fit right inside their front door.
Above the headboard they topped it off with a vintage poster framed in an antique window frame. They also picked that up at the antique mall.
Put together the two look phenomenal. It’s a great alternative to a bulkier entry way table or make shift mudroom area that takes up more space.
