high five for friday!

May 8, 2015 by Lindsey Leave a Comment

Not sure what it’s like where you are but I think it’s officially rained for 10 days straight … and it’s not stopping anytime soon. Can’t complain, right, because we need it in Colorado, but for the love I can now understand seasonal depression. Just need a little vitamin D!

What’s good for your weekend? We were planning to install our privacy fence but with the rain that likely won’t be happening. We’ll be finishing up a ton of half started/half-finished projects in the house.

Have a great one! PicMonkey Collage1. How is this sweet love FIVE months?! I mean can you handle the toothless, cheeky laughter?

2. I tried Jamberry nails for the first time and hated them. I mean no one on earth has time for that process and if you do then come to my house, I could put you to work. May nail beds were too bumpy so they all got wrinkled and looked ridiculous. The pinkie ones looked decent so I left those on and painted the rest a matching color. Not half bad, I think they’re much more tolerable in small doses. What do you think?

3. Don’t forget, Mother’s Day this weekend! Amazon has the cutest email gift cards to choose from. I sent one to my Mom and my sister earlier this week. I love giving Amazon gift cards because the recipient can literally choose whatever the heck they want.

4. Grabbed these cute slip ons at Target for around 12 bucks. I’ve already gotten so many compliments on them. I love them because they add some color to my normally very neutral outfits (read: jeans, gray or black tee-shirt!).

5. Getting mail from my sister is the highlight of my day when it arrives. Cue the duct tape! This was a box full of yarn and knitting supplies from my aunt and grandma that they gave to me. I’ve never been so excited about yarn before now.
