Well hello there, it has been a while and how the hell is it September?! Things have been crazy around these parts. My travel schedule started last week and I’ll be on the road for the next seven weeks straight. Which. Is. Insane.
So things around here will likely be slower but we’re still moving and shaking on lots of projects. And you know, the normal bumps in the road too. Like when the drain pipe backed up into our basement (and smelled so lovely) so we had to call in a plumber or when we decided to paint the front door and I broke the lock that was original to the house so we need a locksmith to fix it.
Never dull, never a dull moment.
We’ve continued to work a ton on the exterior of the house and I’ll be sharing those updates in the coming weeks. And while I hate to see summer wrap up I’m looking forward to getting some inside projects completed, doing some freezer cooking and gearing up for the colder months. Though, it’s still like 90 degrees here so I think summer will be sticking around for a while longer, and I ain’t complainin.
I wanted to stop in to say hey and let you guys know what’s up. I hope you’re all enjoy the last weeks of summer, getting ready for back to school or work if you’re a teacher and gearing up for fall.
