Bay windows and I have a love-hate relationship. They are so darn beautiful but are a nightmare to dress. Especially when there is a dining area and radiator right under it. In efforts to spend as little as possible I picked up a few yards of burlap at the fabric store. It was on sale for $2.24/yard.
I measured the windows as one long measurement and cut the fabric to fit. I used an eye hook at the corner of each window and thread twine through them. I added a few drape rings and clipped the burlap piece up. It needed something else so I took some white ribbon I had and clipped that up too. That was it, done.
So simple, nothing fancy, nothing I’m hoping is going to last for the next 5 years. It definitely pulled the entire kitchen together and adds a little touch above the table. Have you done any burlap projects? I’m loving the looks of it but its a pain to clean up after you’ve been cutting it!

You should do the fringe that John and Sherry showed on the Nate Berkus show!
