These numbered canvases were super easy to make and are awesome for a kids room or playroom. I made these for a little girls room who is going for a science theme. Which, side note, how awesome is that for an 8 year olds room decor?!
I created the numbers in PicMonkey, by playing around with backgrounds, numbers and colors. Once I landed on the final version I printed them on a standard printer.
I used 8×10″ canvases and mod podge to create the final look. I trimmed each sheet of paper to fit the canvases, as the paper was a tad larger. I decoupaged the printouts on to the canvases using a sponge brush, which did take patience!
I allowed each to dry overnight before touching up any spots where the glue didn’t hold. I’ve been on the hunt for a yard stick (which is harder to find than you’d think!) because I think it would look cute to secure them to a yardstick and then hang the yardstick directly on the wall.
Overall this was a pretty simple and inexpensive project. I’m sharing a free printable of each number below. By clicking on the link the numbers will load and you can easily print each PDF.
