Adding on to the eco friendly, recycled, reused gift wrap post from last week, I wanted to share this quick and easy idea to wrap gift cards.
I have two aunt’s who make these amazing greeting cards and have for as long as I can remember. For years I’ve saved them, framed them as holiday decorations, used them as gift tags, etc.
Now that Louie is in school and we had 8 teacher gifts to buy I decided to use my stash of handmade greeting cards from my aunts to wrap the teacher gift cards.
I simply cut the front of the card off, personalized a note on the back, taped the gift card on and then secured it with raffia ribbon as an added touch.
Just another way to reuse what you have, and honestly, how cute and unique are these cards?! We actually already gave them to the teachers, because who knows when this baby is going to arrive, and they all LOVED the cards!

Cute idea! I’ve saved all of my cards from them as well!!!! Would love to share them with others.

His teachers truly loved them! I think because they were different than just a gift card envelope AND they’re beautiful and so creative!

Love this idea. I was looking for a gift card holder not too long ago….to think I could have used my extra! I admit, I have repurposed some of Karen’s cards by taking off the top and reapplying to another card to send to my friends!

Love that you re-purpose Aunt K’s cards for yourself!!

Such a great idea. Fun to look back and see the designs over the years. Looking forward to spending Christmas with all the littles and to hearing all about your new arrival! Love and Merry Christmas to all! Aunt K
