This year I wanted to make some simple valentines for a few of my favorites, but I didn’t want to spend too much money and I wanted to ensure nothing cost too much to ship. I’m sharing a few ideas below that could really work for a variety of ages.
For Older Kids
I grabbed an $1 puzzle for our niece and wrapped it up all cute. On the wrapping I wrote “We love you to pieces, Valentine.” Appropriate, ya know, since there’s all those puzzle pieces…get it?
For Younger Kids
I picked up a few bottles of bubbles for my favorite little girls, $1 for the three pack. I wrapped them up and wrote on them “Blowing hugs your way.” Just something small and fun for them to play with if it ever warms up and stops snowing.
For Adults
Al and I don’t usually do Valentine’s gifts because our anniversary is the week after, but I mean I love the guy, so I like to pick up something small that I know will make him smile. I grabbed a $10 Starbucks gift card and wrapped it in a cute paper and wrote, “I love you a latte.” Get it? A latte.
What valentine’s are you guys making this year? Anything cute and clever? Happy Valentine’s Day!
