Wrote this 6 weeks ago and never posted it. But hey, better late than never and his 5 month update will follow in a day or so haha.
Honestly, if I didn’t have to carry them for 9 months, birth them and raise them for 18 years, I would have all the babies. Despite the fact that he hit the 4 month sleep regression HARD, this kid still has us just absolutely in love.
He is just the sweetest. He is fully grabbing at toys and anything available to grab, is so close to rolling over and continues to work on it daily and he just smiles and laughs and coos and talks constantly. He loves Louie, perks up at his voice and just wants to “talk” to him.
He’s strong! He recently had a massive growth spurt and I’m struggling to keep up with clothing him! He pushes off with his legs, has the tightest grip on things and can’t understand why he has to be buckled into every seat, swing etc. (because he tries to jump out)!
We love him to pieces. This is my favorite – when they start doing things. Those early months of infancy are hard. Really hard. You give everything you’ve got, you’re sleep deprived, the best definition of a hot mess and they do nothing in return. And then one day they start doing everything and it’s just absolutely amazing. And then you blink and they’re two and a half and you cry because they grow up so fast. Ugh parenthood.
