Happy Friday! Anyone else feel like this week was a year long? We’re keeping our fingers crossed for decent weather this weekend so we can get out in the yard and start getting to work. It’s a hot mess out there so it really could use some attention. Hope the sun is shining where you are. Have a great weekend!
1. Have you guys checked out the Nate Berkus line of home decor fabrics at Joann Fabrics? This is just a small sampling, but my goodness I wanted to buy every spool in full. I though that would be unnecessary though so I didn’t buy any…because I couldn’t make a decision. They’re currently on sale at our local store, so maybe they are at yours too! I plan to go back this weekend and pick up a few.
2. These were a necessity to brighten up this place with all the gloomy weather. The sun showed its face for like two hours yesterday, so we’re making progress. Baby steps.
4. This here. Tough photo to make out, but it’s an enormous hutch that I scored for 40 bucks (!) and it fit perfectly, like perfectly, not a millimeter to spare in our pilot. I knew we bought that car for a good reason. Can’t wait to transform this bad boy!
5. Remember how I told you guys that my grandma and aunt gave me a bunch of yarn – well in that bunch was a scarf that Mimi (grandma) had started but was unfinished. I decided to finish it and plan to donate it to a local organization we support that helps clothe families that have unexpectedly been hit with hard times (sudden illness, job loss, death etc.). Maybe she passed her stellar knitting skills to me through that scarf. One can dream.
