I truly enjoy sharing products that I love with you guys and because of that, I’m starting a my favorite things series. I find myself always recommending products that work for us to people, so why not share a few each month. None of these posts or products are sponsored. They’re honestly items that we use in our everyday lives that are worth sharing with others. (this lineup is very un-colorful, eh?!)
Halogen Wallet
My sister gave me this wallet for my birthday two years ago and it still looks brand new. I receive compliments on it on a weekly basis. And not only is it pretty, it’s SO functional. There are a bunch of compartments in it, it can be a wallet or a wristlet, and inside there’s a smaller credit card wallet that snaps off if you don’t need the whole wallet. I’ve used it exclusively for two years and like I said it still looks brand new.
Gap Body Comfy Pants
My sister gave me these pants for Christmas (hold on, do you see a trend? all the cool, awesome things I have are from my sister because she knows me so well and is the best gift giver EVER) and they have become my favorite comfy pants ever. Mine are a cream color, so a little different from these ones, but color doesn’t matter here. They’re soft, not heavy and hot and they’re the most perfect pants to lounge around in.
Cast Iron Skillets
I love my cast iron skillets. We now have two, a large one and a smaller one. These are the only two skillets we own. We got rid of our ceramic one because it started chipping and that made me uncomfortable to cook on. I know that many people are intimidated by cast iron and don’t like the added clean up, but the truth is, if you season it properly the clean up shouldn’t be terrible. The more I season mine the less food sticks to it. With our large one I’m almost to the point where I nothing sticks at all!
Cuppow
I use mason jars for everything, including as drinking glasses. So why not make them into a travel mug too?! Eliminates more cups in our cabinets and is a lot easier to wash than those pesky travel mugs and lids. I won’t lie, people often tell me it looks like a sippy cup, but I’m completely okay with that.
External Hard Drive
I got this on super sale on Black Friday years ago. I use it constantly. Back everything up on it – blog, photos, important documents, etc. It helps us stay mostly paper free which is awesome. I am looking for recommendations on web-based storage, if anyone has a great site they use!
That’s it for this month! If you have any products you highly recommend share with us in the comments!
